1. Where your data is held
We are clear about where your information is stored so you can understand how your data is handled.
Financial and planning data (your plans, accounts, income, expenses, etc.)
This data is stored only on your device. We do not upload it to our servers or to any central database. It stays on your phone unless you use backup/restore features (e.g. export to a file you control).
Account and access data
To provide access and paid features, we use an anonymous account. Account identifiers are stored with our authentication provider (e.g. Firebase, which may process data in supported regions). We do not require or store your name, email, or other personal details for basic use unless you choose to provide them (e.g. for account recovery or support).
Backups you create
If you create a backup file, that file is stored where you choose (e.g. on your device or in your own cloud storage). We do not store or access the contents of your backup files on our servers.
2. How we use your data
We use account-related data to run the app and provide the service. We do not sell your personal data. We may use service providers (e.g. for hosting or authentication) who process data under strict agreements; their locations will depend on the provider (e.g. Google Cloud/Firebase regions).
3. Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data. Contact us using the details in the app or at pension-flow.com. If you are in the UK, you may also have rights under UK GDPR and the right to complain to the ICO.
